Deal of the Day: Organic Strawberries $1.99 lb at Whole Foods (7/19 only)

Pardon the late post, but the CB did actually mention this deal earlier in the week. 

All day today, Friday, July 19, participating Whole Foods stores are selling organic strawberries for just $1.99 a pound. Even if you don’t believe that Whole Foods usually sells its organic strawberries for $4.99 a pound, the Cheap Bastard can tell you that his wife (whatever you do, don’t call her Mrs. Bastard) saw a pound of organic strawberries at Fred Meyer for $3. 

So, it’s a savings of more than $1, depending on where you shop.
