Free Health Clinic at Seattle Center Next Week (10/22-25)

October 13, 2015

FINAL-Patient-Home-Page-GraphicThe Cheap Bastard hates to say it, but he hasn’t been all that impressed with the deals he’s been seeing lately. That’s why he hasn’t been doing many deals of the day. He has found one coming up that he wants you to pass the word on, especially to people who still can’t afford health insurance even under Obamacare.

There will be a four-day free health care clinic at Key Arena from Oct. 22-25th designed to help serve underserved populations. That means the working poor, the underemployed, the unemployed, those who live on the streets and those who normally wouldn’t be able to see a doctor. The volunteer-staffed event will include medical, dental and vision screenings and treatment.

Although the doors will open at 12:30 every day, anybody who plans to attend will likely want to make sure to be in line when they pass out admission tickets at 5 a.m. each day. Considering that more than 3,300 people were served during last year’s clinic, it may be worth being prepared to camp out overnight. It is worth mentioning that folks who plan to attend cannot get vision and dental services on the same day. Instead, they’ll have to return another day and wait in line again.
