Ride Metro Free For 2 Weeks…If You Live In The Right Neighborhood

August 8, 2014

InMotion_PosterAnimation1RightAlignYes, you saw that right.

In an effort to get people to change their commuting habits, Metro Transit’s new In Motion Program is offering a free ORCA card to anyone who lives north of 85th Street in Seattle or in Shoreline (or Renton or Burien) and promises to make at least two fewer trips a week where they drive alone. The passes are good for two weeks of unlimited travel on Metro Transit.

All you have to do is register online and record your weekly effort to reduce your number of solo car trips by two. You must be at least 16 years old and have at least one car in your household to take part.

The program is running for 12 weeks.

Thanks, Phinneywood.
