Show Your Mom Some Love With These Mom Day Deals

May 7, 2014

mothers-day-lunchboxDon’t you hate it when you go Downtown to take mom out for Mother’s Day and you can’t find parking? You’ve covered all the bases. You’ve got a reservation for lunch at a top notch restaurant, you’ve stuffed the kids in the car and gotten mom and grandmom in plenty of time to make it there at the appointed time and you’re still late because you can’t find any affordable on street parking.

Trust me, we’ve all been there. Fortunately, the Downtown Seattle Association has your back.

Not only is DownSeattleParking.com offering up to four hours of free parking on Mother’s Day at a number of Waterfront garages when you

eat at a participating Waterfront area restaurant, but the Metropolitan Improvement District will also have Parking Ambassadors who will help you find free parking as you drive down the waterfront.

How cool is that?

Here’s the fine print on the deal: You have to park in one of the participating garages which include -Hillclimb Court Garage (1422 Western Ave.)
-Watermark Tower Garage (1108 Western Ave.)
-Western and Seneca Lot (1101 Western Ave.)
-Pike Place Market Garage (1531 Western Ave.)
-First and Columbia Garage (721 1st Ave)
-Harbor Steps Garage (1200 Western Ave.)

and you have to get a voucher from one of the participating restaurants including:

Ivar’s Acres of Clams & Ivar’s Pier 54 Fish Bar
The Seattle Great Wheel
Argosy Cruises
Tillicum Village
Elliott’s Oyster House & Café
Red Robin
Pioneer Jewelers
The Crab Pot
Fisherman’s Seafood Restaurant
The Salmon Cooker

While we’re on the subject, here’s the round-up for this weekend in just enough time for you maybe to squeeze in a reservation at one of these places.

Pt. Defiance Zoo & Aquarium – Celebrate Mothers Day by getting half off admission on….Saturday. Mom’s also get half off the Deep Forest zipinline course.
