Get Your Pet “Fixed” Free Through Friday

February 27, 2014

The Cheap Bastard doesn’t know why people say they’re getting their pets “fixed” when they have them spay or neutered. They weren’t broken and everything was working just fine until we got involved, thank you very much.

Still, Tuesday was World Spay Day and in recognition of the event, the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Spay and Neuter Clinic is offering folks a chance to get their pets spay and neutered for free through Feb. 28th (gasp, that’s tomorrow).

These procedures usually cost between $120 and $155, so this is a pretty big deal. As you might guess, space is limited, so you’ll want to make an appointment at (206) 386-4260.

The shelter will also offer microchips and vaccinations for pets getting surgeries on those days. That’s another big deal because microchips usually cost $30 and vaccinations $10.
