One of the big problems with watching the Academy Awards is that it’s hard to know who to cheer for if you haven’t seen all the films. AMC hopes to get you ready for the big show by offering Buy One, Get One Free movie tickets to selected Oscar-nominated films from now through Feb. 27th (Monday through Thursday only, of course).

The films include August: Osage County, Blue Jasmine, Captain Phillips, Inside Llewyn Davis, Nebraska, Philomena, The Wolf of Wall Street or 12 Years a Slave.

You can’t just show up at the box office and get the deal, however. You have to have a coupon.

That isn’t AMC’s only Oscar deal, however. If you’re a hardcore movie-goer and don’t mind seeing the light of day for an entire day (or two) and you live in the right location, you can see four of the films for just $30 on Saturday, Feb. 22 or five films for $40 on March 1. Or all nine films for $60.

The list on Saturday Feb. 22 is Philomena, Dallas Buyers Club, the Wolf of Wall Street and 12 Years a Slave. The following week you can see Nebraska, Captain Phillips, Her, American Hustle and Gravity. The deal is only available at select locations throughout the country. In the Seattle area, you an see them at Alderwood Mall 16, Kent Station 14 or Pacific Place 11. It appears that tickets for this eye-popping extravaganza are only available at the box office.
