Free National Park Entry This Weekend

February 10, 2014

It’s time for full-on panic mode, parents! President’s Day Weekend is the end of this week and I bet most of you still don’t have a plan for what you’re going to do with the kids for three days.

Why not take them to a National Park for free?

On February 15-17th entrance to national parks all over the country will be free. Granted, this advanced warning may not give you time to head to Bryce Canyon or even the Grand Canyon, but it will give you enough time to plan to visit Mount Rainier, Olympic National Park, Ebey’s Landing or San Juan Island National Park. Of course, those aren’t the only parks you can visit. The National Parks website has a full list.

And if you’re having trouble deciding where to go, you can always watch the video above and let the former presidents of the United States help you pick one.
