Cheap Bastard Reading at Mercer Island Library Tomorrow

November 13, 2013

cheapbastardsseattle3Just when you thought it was safe to return to your neighborhood King County Library, the Cheap Bastard is back with another reading Thursday night at the Mercer Island Public Library, which not only proves that there are plenty of ways to places to find cheap food, but also proves….well.. .that they’ll let just about anybody into a library.

This reading will be 7 p.m. tomorrow night at the Mercer Island branch of the King County Library on, you guessed it, Mercer Island. The CB will talk about cheap eats and, who knows, the librarian just might pass around free Starbucks cards again.

Or not.

The library is located 4400 88th Avenue SE and the reading will be at 7 p.m.

Remember to bring your best cheap bastard tips because, as always, the cheap bastard always awards a kitschy prize for the best deal.

The CB will be happy to answer any questions you might have about saving money even if they have absolutely nothing to do with food. To get an idea of some of the issues we’ve talked about, check his post on the Burien reading and the Kirkland reading as well.

And if you can’t make that one, he’ll also be doing a reading at the Bellevue Library at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
