Ivar’s Cookbook Signing….With Samples Tonight At Ivar’s Acres of Clams

Ivars_Cookbook__28088-1.1375726890.960.650Buying a new cookbook can always be a risky proposition. You have to ask yourself, “Do the recipes work? Will they be any good? Will I get them right?” and thousands of other questions that go into the purchasing decision.

That won’t be a problem tonight at Ivar’s Acres of Clams at Pier 54 when the company hosts a signing of its new Acres of Clams Cookbook complete with samples of some of the dishes mentioned in the book. Not only that, but there will also be food specials and a raffle. In addition, people who purchase the cookbook will get a $5 voucher for food purchased at Ivar’s Acres of Clams.

The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight (Sept. 11), will include Ivar’s President Bob Donegan and Ivar’s chef telling stories about the popular restaurant and is just the start of a series of events centering on the release of the book “Ivar’s Seafood Cookbook: The O-fish-al Guide to Cooking the Northwest Catch.”
