In case you were following the CB’s effort to save you enough over 2013 to buy you a Honda Insight Hybrid, the final tally of savings ended up being $24,131.03. Add in the $725 saved on the fancy car driving deal and it ends up being around $24,856.03.

Not that the additional amount matters all that much. A look at Cars.com today reveals that $24,131.03 is more than enough to buy a 2013 Truffle Pearl Honda EX with a hatchback which is currently selling for $23,912 from Renton Honda Kia before taxes and other miscellaneous charges. Heck, add the $725 back in and you just might have enough left over to afford a half a tank of gas. And if you buy it from a participating Shell station, you could even get a deal on lift passes, but that’s a post for tomorrow.
