See Three Plays at the Fifth Avenue for $99

December 26, 2012

tzoo.g.local.23293.18434.5thave-3showWelcome back one and all! The Cheap Bastard hopes your holiday was happy and that you had a great time with family and friends. Since we don’t celebrate the day, the CB’s wife does the good deed of filling in for someone who does. That’s the plus side. On the negative side, it meant yesterday was just a long day with cranky kids punctuated by sanity breaks in the form of visits with friends and family. No matter what happens next year, he’s going to schedule a day that includes a movie, a meal at a Chinese restaurant and, if necessary, a really long hike.

Now, as they say in the world of acting, “Let’s go on with the show.”

Given the best deal of the day, the CB can’t think of a more appropriate intro for TravelZoo’s three show package at the Fifth Avenue Theatre for $99 ($237 value). No matter where you sit, live entertainment is never cheap, especially musicals done by Broadway touring companies. It would be easy to spend close to $99 just for one show, but with this package you’ll get Orchestra/Grand Tier seats for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday performances of “Grey Gardens,” “The Music Man” and “The Pirates of Penzance.”

You’ll get a voucher for tickets for all three, then you’ll need to call the box office to reserve your tickets. The deal is available for purchase through Jan. 1, you’ll want to reserve tickets as early as possible to get the best seats. Vouchers must be redeemed by March 3rd.

Savings to date: $23,416.05

Which means there’s just $583.95 remaining to reach the goal.
