Tony’s Coffee Hosts Literary Housewarming Tonight (11/30)

November 30, 2012

imagesAs the Cheap Bastard writes this it’s 4:30, but it’s so dark outside that it already seems like Friday evening. But it’s not. And you still have plenty of time to figure out what you’re going to do with the first night of your weekend.

May the Cheap Bastard suggest a free option that he would love to attend?

Tony’s Coffee at 7001 3rd Ave NW has opened on Phinney Ridge and is hosting a grand opening celebration it calls a Literary Housewarming. The event goes from 7 to 8 pm and features readings by neighborhood authors Robert Kaye, Len Kuntz, Patrick McKay and Ross McMeekin. Myballard.com says the evening promises to “break your heart and tickle your funny bone.”

By the way, Phinneywood.com says the party goes until 10, so you’ll want to check before you go.

Earlier in the day, customers could get a free shot of espresso. The Cheap Bastard does not know if the offer will continue into the evening.
