Deal Roundup: Einstein Coffee BOGO and Other Smart Ways to Save

November 28, 2012

As the year draws to an end and the CB finishes meeting all his deadlines, he has begun cleaning his desk and has found things that he didn’t even know he was missing. Who knew that nail clipper was there? Oh, and that’s where that 5 Hour Energy drink I got at last year’s Target Black Friday Sale is….

On with the deals:

Einsteins Bagel Bros Coffee BOGO–Participating Einstein Bagel Bros shops have a coupon for a buy one, get one free espresso drink. It’s available on the company’s facebook page and it’s good through Dec. 12.

Starbucks Buy 5, Get One Free–It’s not the best deal ever, but it is a free beverage. Get a Holiday Beverage Tasting Card from the coffee company and you’ll earn a free drink each time you buy five grande holiday drinks during the holiday season. You have through Jan. 2 to earn the drinks and until March 4th to cash them in. Thanks ThriftyNWMom.

Unlimited Yoga Classes for a Month–Now that all that coffee has got you buzzing, why not calm down with a month’s worth of free yoga classes for just $30? It’s worth $125 and is being offered by Living Social and Spira Power Yoga in West Seattle. Classes are 60 to 90 minutes.

Free Shredding–If one of the things that’s got you tense is all those top secret documents sitting on your desk, participating Staples has a deal for you. You can shred up to 5 pounds of paper for free through Dec. 1. No purchase necessary. Just the coupon. Thanks Hip2Save.

Ride the Ducks for Half Off–Yes, the Cheap Bastard knows it’s corny, but he loves Riding the Ducks. He even took his now-wife (whatever you do, don’t call her Mrs. Bastard) on a date on the Ducks. You can get a Holiday Duck Tour for Two for $15 ($30 value) through Groupon. Deal expires Dec. 30. Not valid Saturdays and Sundays or 12/7, 24-25 or 12/31. Thanks to Steals Plus Deals

Long Beach Getaway $99–If the Ducks isn’t enough of a winter escape for you, you may want to consider a two-day getaway to the Chautaqua Lodge on Long Beach Peninsula for just $50 a night through Groupon (a total $218 value). The Cheap Bastard and his family have stayed here the last two summers and we’ll probably do it again this year. Granted, there’s no kite festival in winter, but there is clamming. If you go, don’t miss the Kite Museum and Jake the Alligator Man. Book by Jan. 25th, travel by Feb. 28th.

Children’s Theatre Six Show Flex Pass–And finally, here’s a great deal that the Cheap Bastard couldn’t pass up. Today only, Goldstar is offering a Six Performance Flex Pass for Seattle Children’s Theatre for $93 plus $12 service charge. It sure beats the heck out of $198. The deal could end at any time. So, let your fingers do the running to cash in.
