Free Car Washes, Wild Waves and Other Trivial Pursuits

November 27, 2012

The Cheap Bastard doesn’t know what it is about this year, but there just seems to be less time to post deals. So, he has to choose between doing one or two deals a day or a big deal round-up. Right now, he’s going with the round-up. Please let him know what you think about the current format.

Now, on to the deals:

Free Car Wash–Brown Bear Car Wash is offering a free car wash for facebook fans. Theoretically, all you have to do is go to Brown Bear’s facebook page, click like and sign up for a wash. When the Cheap Bastard tried to do it, though, it proved problematic. He’s still waiting to see if it went through. Thanks to Queen Bee Coupons

Wild Waves Season Pass deal–While we’re on the subject of water, Wild Waves has a Cyber Monday deal that’s stretched into today for $10 off on a season pass. Normally, they’re $59.99 (before taxes and processing fees). Through today, a season pass is $49.99 plus a $1 processing fee. Thanks ThriftyNWMom

Get Organized For LessGreenlake Moms and Space Your Life are teaming up to offer two hours of home organization for $69 ($145 value). The Cheap Bastard believes if he could find someone to organize him in just two hours, well, it would be cheap at three times the price.

And, in case you missed it, Toys ‘R’ Us is offering one of the Cheap Bastard’s favorite games, Trivial Pursuit for $1 today and tomorrow at participating locations while supplies last. Now, if he could just remember half of what he’d forgot, he’d rush right out and buy one.

More deals to come as time permits.

Savings to date: $19,449.57

Though I appreciate the colorful language, the frustrated writers commentary, and the flowery prose, really, all I want to know is what the CB is informing me about…what the coupon is! Sorry, really don’t have time to hear about all the extraneous details….though I do enjoy a quote every now and then. Got my own kids, job, partner, and just soooo appreciate the deals. That’s all I need. tks for asking!

Thanks for response. I’m not a frustrated writer, though. I make my living writing for magazines and newspapers.
